Gilberts Training Day

Gilberts (Blackpool) Ltd hosted and executed the grilles and diffusers event, held at its national headquarters, for clients of Keane Environmental, one of the foremost suppliers to the heating and air conditioning industry in Ireland.

The one-day seminar covered best selection practice training, smoke test demonstrations, nomogram use, updates on product technology, and a factory tour.

“The aim was to give delegates a better understanding of considerations in their selection and specification process, and keep them ‘up to speed’ on leading edge design & technology,” explained Gilberts’ Technical Director Roy Jones. “Gilberts is the only British manufacturer to have, in-house, the technical and computational capability, and a state-of-the-art test centre, to give truly comprehensive training in air movement. As such we are uniquely positioned to provide tailored, bespoke training for engineers and designers, so they are best equipped to do their job.”

Adds Ian Rogers, Gilberts Sales Director, “This was the first of many such days we intend to facilitate, to give the industry the support tools and background knowledge with which to deliver effective, efficient air movement.”

Gilberts is rapidly becoming the UK’s premier independent air movement expert, with investment in leading technology, facilities and people. Its R&D team conducts and completes lifetime testing, and also develops on-going product testing.
